EYFS Senior Practitioner
We are looking to appoint a Level 3 Early Years Senior Practitioner in our small Pre-school. You will be expected to work alongside the teacher to plan and deliver high quality play and learning opportunities through a wide range of activities and provide an engaging learning environment for the children.
Payhembury Pre-School is an 11-place setting, offering high quality childcare and early years learning opportunities to children between the ages of 3-5 years. This role will be based in our foundation stage classroom where Pre-school and Reception children learn and play together.
We are seeking a practitioner that:
- Holds an approved Level 3 Early Years Childcare qualification
- Is a fun, caring, confident and dedicated practitioner who is proactive, adaptable, and creative with ideas to promote learning
- Has a good understanding of the Early Years Curriculum
- Is passionate in making a positive difference and has high expectations for learning and behaviour
- Promotes positive values, attitudes and behaviour
- Has excellent communication skills leading to effective relationships with pupils, parents and staff
- Has excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work as part of a small team and work on own initiative as appropriate
- Supportive of our Christian ethos
